We’re proud to celebrate Brandon David, LEED AP, on his 20th anniversary with Skycastle & Rodwin! As President and co-owner of Skycastle Construction, Brandon has helped shape who we are today—guiding our growth, refining our processes, and building the strong foundation we stand on.
What sets Brandon apart is his ability to balance big-picture leadership with hands-on expertise. He brings deep field knowledge together with a commitment to design/build best practices, and has fostered a culture of continuous improvement that encourages our team to always grow and do their best work. His vision remains clear: to make Skycastle the top-rated custom homebuilder in the Boulder Valley.
Brandon’s passion for building started early. Growing up in a family of builders, he developed a love of craftsmanship and working with his hands—and by age five, he was already saying he wanted to be an architect. He went on to earn degrees with honors from the University of Utah and the University of Colorado, worked as a lead carpenter, contributed to a National Champion Solar Decathlon project, and joined Skycastle & Rodwin in 2006. His passion for design/build, sustainability, and building science continues to guide his work today, including earning his Passive House builder certification in 2022.
Those who work with Brandon know him for his calm presence, clear communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. He leads with integrity, humility, and a straightforward approach that builds trust at every step. As his business partner Scott Rodwin says, “You’ll never work with a builder with higher integrity -we’re deeply grateful for his steady, thoughtful leadership. Outside of work, Brandon is a proud father of three and loves adventuring with his wife, Ranee—whose unwavering support has been an invaluable part of his journey—and their family.
