The Colorado Green Building Guild is about to announce its 2025 award winners, and we just realized that we hadn’t told you that our own Jocelyn Parlapiano was recognized with their 2024 Leadership Initiative Award for a decade of dedication to sustainable building practices and environmental stewardship. She has made her impact felt not only through her excellent work creating beautiful, exquisitely crafted, Net-Zero Energy homes (including a LEED Platinum home) as a Senior Associate at Rodwin Architecture & Skycastle Construction, but also through her contributions to the CGBG. She served as a Board member and helped lead and organize several years of the Green Home Tour, an event that has opened homes to the general public, that have helped increase awareness of and education around green building strategies, systems and products. She has also been an active mentor for the next generation of future architects through her volunteering in the ACE Mentorship program. With her proactive approach to leadership, she is hopeful to embolden a positive impact on our built environment and inspire others in the industry to adopt similar practices. She is dedicated to creating spaces that are both innovative and responsible, ensuring a positive legacy for future generations.
